Ayurveda

Ayurveda means "the science of life" or "knowledge of longevity" and originates from the Sanskrit words āyus (life) and veda (knowledge).

Ayurveda encourages us all to live in balance with our constitution, environment, and the seasonal rhythms.

Imbalance often occurs due to our stresses, diet, and lifestyle as well as external factors. This can over time lead on to disesse.

This ancient system of health and healing from India offers a strikingly relevant perspective to bring the body, mind and spirit back to equilibrium using personalised and natural interventions.

My Journey

                                              
My Ayurvedic journey began many years ago when I first visited Kerala in South India. I fell in love with the people, rituals and the inner wisdom shared by so many. Their approach to health is so much more holistic than ours in the West.

                                               
 

                                           
I have always been interested in looking after myself but focused more on my mind and spirituality rather than on my whole being.The Ayurvedic way of thinking has profoundly changed my desire to embrace the connections with the body, mind and spirit.
                              
I studied under Dr Sam Watts and now, like him believe that Integrative Ayurvedic Medicine can support us to greater vitality, immunity, disease prevention and longevity. Ayurveda has given me a framework under which to work with you towards your personal wellbeing goals.
